**The key metric is `Amount in USD`.** It is the only measure in this dataset, one value per reported funding deal. It is stored as text with Indian-style digit grouping (e.g. `3,90,00,00,000`), so I parsed it into a number before ranking. **Highest records** (results of steps 5 and 6) - **Rapido Bike Taxi** has the largest deal: Series B, 27/08/2019, Bengaluru, **$3.9 billion**. - **Flipkart** is next with **$2.5 billion** (Private Equity, 11/08/2017). - **Paytm** (18/05/2017) and **Flipkart** (21/03/2017) are tied at **$1.4 billion**, both Private Equity. - Below those come Paytm at $1.0 billion (Nov 2019), Flipkart.com at $700M (2015), Paytm at $680M (2015), True North at $600M (2018) and Udaan at $585M (Series D, 2019). - A "Drums Food" row (21/07/2016) appears at the top of some of my sorted results. Its amount is missing, so it is not a real maximum. I have excluded it. **Lowest records** - The smallest recorded amount is **$16,000**. Five Seed Funding deals on 19/01/2015 share it: Hostel Dunia, Play your sport, Yo Grad, Enabli and CBS. City is missing for all of them. - The next-lowest is **$16,600**, shared by several seed deals on 02/02/2015 (Faaya, Leaf, Dealwithus, InstaBounce, CleverSharks). **Caveats** - The range from $16K to $3.9B is about 5 orders of magnitude, and the top is dominated by a handful of Private Equity deals in e-commerce and fintech. Averages over this column would be heavily skewed, so medians or per-round-type comparisons are safer. - The Rapido figure is about 1.5× the next-largest deal. I haven't verified it against an outside source, so treat it as a possible outlier or data-entry issue. - Some round-type labels are inconsistent (e.g. `Seed\nFunding` versus `Seed Funding`), and some amounts are missing. Both would need cleaning before round-level benchmarking.
