Edit
**Size:** The dataset has 5 tables with 446 rows in total. The row counts come from the table-overview queries:
- January 2022: 115 rows
- March 2022: 98 rows
- February 2022: 96 rows
- April 2022: 95 rows
- May 2022: 42 rows
Each table has 9 business columns: Company Name, Founded, Location, Sector, What it does, Founders, Investor, Amount and Stage. The raw tables also carry 4 ingestion-metadata columns (`_ingestion_timestamp`, `_batch_id`, `_source_file`, `_source_system`), which makes 13 columns per table. The tables share the same layout but have no join keys between them, so they are separate monthly snapshots rather than a linked model.
**Time period:** The data covers January to May 2022, split into one table per month. Each row is a funding round announced in that month. This comes from the table names and the dataset description. No funding-date column exists, so month is the finest time resolution available.
The `Founded` column is the year each company was founded, not when the funding happened. It ranges from 1871 to 2022 across the tables. In the May table `Founded` is stored as text, and the dataset notes say some rows there are misaligned or blank. The May count of 42 rows is therefore less reliable than the others, and it may also be a partial month.
