Edit
**The key metric is `Amount`, the funding raised in each round.** It is the only measure in all five monthly tables (Jan–May 2022), and every row is one funding round. It is stored as text, not a number, so I had to parse it into USD before ranking.
**Highest records (April 2022 holds all five)**
1. Accel (Financial services): $18.3B
2. Ola (Travel Arrangements, Series J): $5.0B
3. Mahindra Logistics (Logistics): $2.5B
4. Verse Innovation (Internet Publishing, Series J): $1.7B
5. ShareChat (Social networking, Series G): $1.4B
**Lowest records (after excluding values that came from parsing errors)**
- FirstCry (Online shopping, April): $74,140
- Propdial (Real Estate, March): $100,000
- PensionBox (Financial Service, March): $160,000
- Accelero Vehicles (Automotive, February, Seed) and Mango Point (Food & Beverages, February): $200,000 each
**Data-quality caveats**
- **Misparsed lows:** My first "lowest" pass returned junk such as "$23" (Skillmatics) and "$34.100,000" (Wooden Street). These use European-style separators or are truncated, so they parse to tiny numbers. I excluded them from the lowest list above, but they mean some amounts in the data are malformed.
- **Missing amounts:** Many rows carry no usable number. "Undisclosed" appears 35 times and a blank 25 times. The format check shows non-dollar entries in every month: 15 of 95 in April, 10 of 96 in February, 7 of 115 in January and 19 of 98 in March. In May, 22 of 42 rows aren't in dollar format, which fits the card's note that some May rows are misaligned.
- **Suspect top value:** The $18.3B Accel entry is probably wrong. Accel is a venture investor rather than a funded company, and its stage is "undisclosed". Treat it as a likely misaligned row rather than a real round. Without it, the top value is Ola at $5.0B.
- **Stray formats:** Some entries have no `$`, such as "2,000,000", which appears twice. A strict `$`-only parse would drop them.
The rankings are therefore reliable only for cleanly formatted dollar amounts. Rounds with undisclosed or malformed amounts cannot be ranked at all.
