Edit
**Yes, there are a few duplicates and near-duplicates, but only two companies are clear cases.** The results below come from my grouping of rows by company across the five monthly tables.
**Duplicates within a single month (2 companies)**
- **nowpurchase**: two January rows, both $2,400,000 and Seed. This is an exact duplicate.
- **securden**: two April rows, both Series A. One amount is written `$11,700,000` and the other `$11.700,000`. This is a near-duplicate that differs only in number formatting, so a strict exact-match check would miss it.
**Same company in more than one month (13 companies)**
- Most of these look like genuine repeat rounds, since the amounts and stages differ. The Pine Labs rows (Jan $20M, Feb $150M, Mar $50M, Apr $1.2B) are one example.
- Some look suspicious and may be re-announcements or carry-over rows rather than new rounds:
- **lummo** shows an identical $80,000,000 Series C in both January and February.
- **dealshare** and **xpressbees** show the same stage (Series E and Series F) in two months, but with very different amounts.
- **livspace** also shows Series F twice, with amounts of $180,000,000 and `$431.6`.
- I can't tell from these results alone whether the repeats are real rounds or re-listings. That would need a check against outside sources.
**Blank rows in May**
- The May table has 19 rows with no company name. Only one carries data: Amount `6400000` with Stage `$Series A`, which looks like a misaligned row. The other 18 are entirely empty.
- These aren't duplicates in the usual sense, but they would collapse into one "blank" group and distort any company-level count.
**Related data quality issue**
- Amounts are inconsistent text, for example `$468.200,000`, `$129.500,000`, `$624.800,000`, `$110.800,000` and `$431.6`, where `.` is used as a thousands separator. These need cleaning before you compare amounts or deduplicate on them.
**Recommendation:** drop the extra nowpurchase and securden rows, drop the empty May rows, and normalise the amount strings before treating the cross-month repeats as distinct rounds.
